New to our church?

Whether you’ve visited several times or just thinking about coming to Glory To God American Catholic Church, we’re glad to have you join us.  Below we’ve outlined some of the things you will experience when you visit, so that you will know what to expect.

What should I expect?

Glory To God American Catholic Church is a safe environment for people who are curious about what a relationship with God really means.  Everything we do is designed to be relevant and relational.  If you have no church background or have been away from church for awhile, or if you have just been bruised, bored, beaten up or burned out on church, you can sit in the back, take it in and move forward on your own pace.  Although this may be different from what you're used to, we are proud to be a church that sets aside differences about worship style and tradition, embracing the full range of Christian expression -- uniting Christians from all different backgrounds!  We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually, wear your rainbow sandals if you want and you'll fit right in.

For those who are not yet fully committed to following Jesus Christ, there will be no pressure at Glory To God American Catholic Church to conform to any preconceived expectations.  You will not be expected to live a “Christian lifestyle” while you are actively seeking God at Glory To God Christian Church.  That does not mean that God has no standards.  But we recognize that God has his own schedule for your life and our church does not have the right to determine or dictate what that is.  Simply put, we do not expect persons not yet fully committed to following Jesus to act like Christ-followers.  We don’t want you to act like anything.  We want you to feel safe to be yourself.

But be prepared, if you stay curious long enough, you will find what you are looking for and God will transform you from the inside out.  Then your life will change because you want it to.

Attend a worship service or any of the other activities.  Then, attend again.  It usually takes more than once to make friends! Glory To God American Catholic Church is a safe place to worship and interact with other Christians.
