“ ‘Put on a garment’ of Praise instead of a Spirit of Despair.” Isaiah 61:3 NIV
“Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; speak of all His wonders.” (1Chronicles 16:8-9)Music is praise to the Lord! At Glory To God American Catholic Church there are many ways we give praise to the Lord for His goodness in our lives. Are you a heart that is filled by traditional hymns? We are too! Is your heart and soul filled with more contemporary / Praise & Worship Christian music? Our hearts are too! Do you prefer a quiet atmosphere to enter into and begin your worship with the Lord? We do too! Music is praise to the Lord!
Did you know David was a shepherd who composed music to the Lord while he tended his father’s sheep? Did you know that when he was made king; David danced before the Lord in praise? The angels of heaven glorify the Lord with loud praise and songs of adoration and joy everyday!
Here at Glory To God American Catholic Church, we lift our voices, every time we gather, in praise to the Lord and especially every Sunday at 10am. As we praise the Lord, Jesus fills our hearts, renews our spirits, and sends us out to a new week, to fulfill His mission of love and mercy in our city, and neighborhoods, among strangers and friends, our workplaces and especially in our homes!
Music is praise to the Lord! He tells us in His word: “Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of depression.” What better garment to wear than the heartfelt praise and worship we give to our Lord through hymns, psalms, and spiritual songs of our love for Jesus Christ!
Our praise team is always seeking new members who gladly desire to sing, play an instrument and to fill the House of God with praises to our King! All we ask is that you come, with open heart and joy; for God delights to hear us “make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Gladden His heart with songs of thanksgiving and praise!”
Please Contact Joseph if you are interested in joining the Praise Team. Music is Praise! |
