Whether Holy Matrimony, or as a marriage, love between two people is celebrated with joy in the Church. A time of festivity and solemn acknowledgement of vows / covenants before friends and family, our Lord has this to say, ” For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife (spouse) and they shall become one flesh.” And in another place it is written: “What God has joined together, let no one separate.”
