| Holy Communion |

In Holy Communion, we receive the fullness of life in Jesus Christ. It is the source and summit of our faith. For it is in this most humble and divine banquet that we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus, who suffered and died for us, so that we would all be one with Him.
For we are commanded by the Lord Jesus Himself, to eat of His Body (Jesus took bread in His sacred hands and said “Take and eat, this is my Body, which will be given up for you.”) and to drink of His blood (and then He took the cup, filled with wine and said “Take and drink, all of you, this is the cup of my Blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant, it will be shed for you and for all, so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in Memory of Me.”)
Here at Glory to God, the table of the Lord is set for the people of God. It is set so that all may enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. All that is asked of those who do come, to come seeking the Lord, seeking you will find Him, waiting with open arms. |
